Keeping HVAC systems running for less

As part of its continuous innovation strategy, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) specialist Booyco Engineering has launched its new anti-idle auxiliary power unit (APU). In an environment where temperature is deemed a Class A hazard, the APU allows mines and quarries to keep their HVAC systems running while the main diesel engine of the machine is off, thus reducing fuel costs and carbon emissions, without compromising operator comfort and safety.
