The familiar brand of orange coloured Doosan construction equipment has recently had a global re-brand and is now known as Develon.
“As part of the company’s rebranding effort, Develon machines, parts and engines will continue to feature the latest technology and robust design, to ensure optimum performance, low operational costs and minimal maintenance requirements,” states Darrel Holton, MD, DISA Equipment (Pty) Limited, representing Doosan/Develon in South Africa.
“The local team’s commitment to offering the highest standards of quality and service in a highly competitive sector, remains steadfast. We are proud to supply and support a wide range of Develon excavators, articulated dump trucks (ADTs) and wheel loaders, that suits exact requirements in all tough African conditions.
“Our customers know that Develon machines guarantee efficient power output, fuel efficiency and low emissions, as well as operator safety, greater comfort and precise control. The only major change customers will see is the Develon name on machines and new signage at our branches and dealerships.”
A critical part of the company’s service is providing a technical advisory, repair, maintenance and spare parts service, through a national network of branches and carefully selected distributors.
As part of the re-brand programme, the local operation will continue to launch new machines – the latest excavators to be launched in Africa are the DX360LC-7B and DX530LCA-7M series. These machines are designed to offer high productivity in tough conditions.
