Kanu Equipment agrees to acquire Kemach Equipment

Kanu Equipment has entered into an agreement to acquire Kemach Equipment South Africa, the company has said in a statement. However, the deal is still subject to regulatory and internal approvals.

Kanu is the largest distributor of Liebherr, Bomag and McCloskey equipment in Africa, while Kemach distributes the same brands within South Africa, in addition to Bull TLBs and Kemach Forklifts. Kanu Equipment believes that the synergies are obvious, and of ultimate benefit to customers.

“We are confident that under the direction of the Kanu Management Team, these premium brands in the Kemach stable will receive the dedicated support they deserve. In addition, the existing Kanu customers in Africa will benefit from the new resource available within South Africa,” the company says.
