Lintec & Linnhoff has supplied a used Lintec CSM4000 containerised asphalt mixing plant to support the construction of the Aqaba International Circuit (AIC), a landmark motorsport infrastructure project currently under development by Aqaba Development Corporation in southern Jordan.
Located within the Aqaba Special Economic Zone, the Aqaba International Circuit is being developed as a flagship motorsport, tourism and entertainment destination designed to host a range of local and international racing events. The project is currently under construction, with Engineering Consultants Group (Engicon) appointed as supervising consultant for the FIA Grade 3 circuit, which spans approximately 1,15-million m².
The Lintec CSM4000 was sold and installed specifically to support asphalt production for the Aqaba International Circuit construction works, where consistent mix quality, controlled production processes, and reliable plant operation are required throughout the project lifecycle.
The Lintec CSM4000 features a modular, fully containerised design that enables easy transportation and rapid installation using standard shipping containers, with minimal civil works required.
Factory-tested components and an integrated plant configuration support reliable on-site operation and stable asphalt production, while allowing flexible plant layouts and straightforward relocation between projects.
In addition, the Lintec CSM4000’s advanced vibration screen technology, a key feature of the Lintec CSM range, enables precise and efficient material separation. In this system, dried aggregates are conveyed to a multi-deck screening unit, where vibration technology ensures accurate separation into different fractions before being transferred into hot mineral bins.
Designed for high-capacity production, the system supports up to six screening decks and allows even fine materials to be processed with consistency. The integrated bypass functionality and optimised insulation further enhance operational flexibility and energy efficiency, while multiple access points facilitate straightforward maintenance and servicing.
Commenting on the project, Tony Chakra, Regional Manager, Middle East and Africa, Lintec & Linnhoff adds: “The Aqaba International Circuit is a strategically important infrastructure project for Jordan, and we are delighted that our Lintec CSM 4000 was chosen to support its development. Even as a used plant, the CSM delivers the reliability, production consistency, and operational efficiency required for demanding infrastructure projects. This project highlights the residual value of Lintec & Linnhoff asphalt plants and their ability to deliver value across multiple applications.”
By supplying proven asphalt mixing technology for the Aqaba International Circuit project, Lintec & Linnhoff continues to support major infrastructure developments worldwide, offering solutions that combine mobility, durability, and consistent production quality across both new and refurbished plant installations.
