FUSO Trucks, a brand of Daimler Truck Southern Africa (DTSA), has today launched its all-new FUSO TV33-400S 6×4 truck tractor for short to medium, extra heavy duty distribution and construction.

FUSO Trucks continues to set new benchmarks in providing comprehensive products and variants across segments and applications (from 4 t to 33 t) to meet the increasingly sophisticated customer demands in southern Africa.

The new FUSO TV33-400S 6×4 truck tractor has a strong design focus on safety, driver comfort, fuel efficiency and productivity.

Maretha Gerber, vice president: Sales and Marketing at DTSA: “My heart bursts with pride as we welcome the latest addition to our FUSO family. I am proud to say that we have always been a brand that aligns itself with its customers’ business needs and our journey continues unabated. Southern Africa remains a focus market for FUSO Trucks and today with the launch of this new truck, we are confident that it will move us into a stronger position across all major segments.”

The new model offers improved fuel consumption, thanks to its aerodynamic cab design which minimises air drag.

With a strong design focus on lower total cost of ownership, the new truck comes with extended service intervals. These include engine oil change at 50 000 km or 1 000 hours, coolant change at approximately 100 000 km or 12 months, transmission oil change at 150 000 km, differential oil change at 150 000 km. This is complemented by a standard 4-year or 300 000 km warranty.
