Telestack, a global leader in the design and manufacture of mobile bulk material handling solutions, is renowned for its comprehensive range across the sectors in which it serves. Offering the widest range of mobile hopper feeders in the marketplace, the Telestack HF suite is designed around the needs of its customers with options ranging from 7 m³ to 24 m³ hopper capacity, capacities ranging from 300 to 3 000 tonnes per hour (tph), and the ability to be fed from medium sized wheel loaders right up to large capacity wheel loaders such as a CAT 992/ 994 or Komatsu 900/ 1200.

The HF 24 T is a flagship mobile track mounted hopper feeder in the range weighing in at 65 t and used around the world with many blue chip mining and port/ terminal companies to complement their stockyard or port infrastructure for either feeding or reclaiming of material.

Telestack mobile hopper feeders can also be paired with mobile high-capacity track mounted Link conveyors to work along with these units. This enables link conveyors to be inserted into the system to reduce the load and carry distance of the wheel loaders, thus increasing the feed rate of the loaders and closer access to dead stockpile areas.

The units can feed directly onto stacker reclaimer conveyor lines which are typically located 4- 5 m above ground level unlike other competitor reclaim systems which discharge at approximately 2 m for ground level conveyors. The unit can handle either lump or fine product and the robust nature of the design means it can handle all types of heavy ores.

The ability to transport from site to site on low loaders enables the units to be shared between multiple sites during stacker reclaimer breakdowns / routine maintenance / end of life changeover plans. Multiple units can be used to create a blended feed to export the product from mine site stockyard or port stockyard.

Feeding ship/ barge loading equipment or train load out is also typical applications where these units are utilised. The versatility, mobility and robustness of the HF 24 has proved invaluable to mining and ports clients around the world and we believe that the complimentary range of heavy-duty mobile link conveyors will compliment this product range.

Key benefits of the HF 24 T

  • Telestack HF 24 T can be easily relocated RORO from site to site on a standard 75T float loaded under its own power.
  • Shared asset that can be used on numerous sites for stacker reclaimer breakdowns / routine maintenance / end of life changeover plans.
  • Can be moved into position close to reclaim area to minimise load and carry distance of wheel loaders thus increasing reclaiming capacity
  • Wheel loaders operating at ground level offer safer working environment than Dozers working on stockpiles at height
  • Can be used with lump or fines with no possibility of bridging or ratholing which can occur on fines when dozer reclaiming
  • Multiple units can be used to blend lump and fines for export
  • Can be used in conjunction with TS track mounted link conveyors to reduce the load and carry distance when reclaiming from stockpiles.
  • No/ limited civil infrastructure is required for the units
  • Full on-site mobility = no need for dozers or wheel loaders to push and pull units into position and quicker relocation times.
  • Wheel loader fed system is softer material handling as opposed to Dozers which can compact, contaminate, and degrade the material.
  • Units are electrically powered from 3 phase mains power supply or stand-alone/ on board gen sets
  • Robust heavy duty high-capacity mining spec equipment with high utilisation / reliability rates
