Leading global equipment manufacturer Astec Industries recently celebrated its annual Long Service Awards, honouring employees whose dedication and commitment have contributed to the company’s continued success.
Luqman Ebrahim and Nicky Ludick were among the employees recognised at a function at Astec Industries’ manufacturing facility in Elandsfontein, Gauteng. Parts sales administrator Ebrahim has achieved the milestone of 40 years of service while inventory planner Ludick has been with the organisation for 35 years.
When presenting the awards, Johan Goosen, MD of Astec Industries Africa Middle East, commended Ebrahim’s wealth of knowledge and his exceptional customer service. “Luq, we want to express our deep appreciation for the immense contributions you’ve made to our organisation throughout the years. Your dedication has not only benefited our company and our customers but has also inspired us all,” he said.
Goosen praised Ludick’s valuable role in Astec’s local manufacturing activities. “Nicky’s deep knowledge of our products and processes contributes significantly to our planning activities,” he stated.
Goosen noted that these milestones are a testament not only to individual commitment but also to Astec Industries’ strong workplace culture and values.
